This policy explains how Vision Parts Point ("we", "us"), 218 Shopping Centre, Kota, Rajasthan 324007, India, collects and uses information when you contact us, buy from us, or message us on WhatsApp, including through our own messaging software that uses the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta.
Information we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number and WhatsApp profile name.
- Messages: the messages, photos and documents you send us, and our replies.
- Order details: items enquired about or purchased, delivery address and payment status.
- Preferences: product categories you are interested in, and whether you have asked us to stop sending updates.
We do not collect payment card numbers, passwords or government ID numbers through WhatsApp.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiries and process, ship and support your orders.
- To send order updates and, if you have agreed to receive them, information about new stock, prices and offers relevant to your business.
- To keep records required for accounting and tax purposes.
- To improve our service, for example by organising customers by product interest.
WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta
Our messaging software connects to the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Messages between you and us are processed by Meta to deliver them, under WhatsApp's Business Policy and Meta's terms. The software is used only to manage Vision Parts Point's own WhatsApp Business account and conversations.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers needed to run our business — Meta/WhatsApp for messaging, courier partners (such as Bluedart and Delhivery) for delivery, and our accountants — or when required by law.
Marketing messages and opting out
We send promotional messages only to people who have agreed to receive them. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp, or by calling us. We will stop marketing messages to your number promptly.
Retention
We keep conversation and order records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and tax requirements, normally up to 8 years for invoices. Marketing preferences are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Security
Our records are stored on systems controlled by us, protected by access controls. Access tokens for the WhatsApp Business Platform are stored securely and never shared.
